She was constantly pouring into others, never stopped praying and never stopped praising the Lord God. ![]() She loved hard, she loved intentionally, and without regret. Whether you called her Mom, Mother, Grandma, Sister Louise, Flo, Auntie Flo, Florine, sister, Elder, Rev, cousin or friend you certainly experienced her smile, guidance, prayers, laughter, encouragement, and even that tough love talk. She loved to sing songs into the Lord, traveling, eating out at restaurants w/family and friends, dressing up, keeping her hair done, watching movies or tv (especially with her grandchildren ), and next to spending time communing with her Savior, she loved to be with her family. She did some modeling for a local major department store, oil painting, crocheting, reading, sewing, bowling ( she had trophies from a league ), gardening, and decorating with butterflies. Louise had a plethora of hobbies through the years. In 2001 she received her Associate of Biblical Studies from Friends International Christian University, in 2002 she attained her Bachelor of Biblical Studies, and became ordained as Reverend, later being named and appointed Elder and Pastor. In 2000, she received the Dean award from Calvary Bible Institute. In the early 1990’s she became a licensed Minister. God divinely appointed and anointed her to teach and preach the gospel. Louise lived to study and learn, definitely showing herself approved, never wanting to lead anyone the wrong way. Louise was a member of the Just Friends Group, the Zeta Amicae of Dover, and she volunteered on the Kent General Hospital Pastoral Care Department as a Chaplain. She was an usher, Sunday School teacher, Youth Church teacher, Prison Ministry worker, Nursing Home Ministry worker, Evangelism team minister, Floriguild members, Vacation Bible School teacher, Missionary traveling Minister, and Prayer Team participant. Louise served faithfully in many capacities. Her life of service to her Lord directed her to fellowship and serve with several local assemblies The Pentecostals of Dover, DAFB Chapel, New Jerusalem Baptist Church in Dover, Trinity Wesleyan Church in Camden, Calvary Baptist Church in Dover, Bread of Life Christian Church in Dover/Camden, Because Jesus Loves you Ministries of Greenwood, affiliate of Sharon Edmund Ministries of North Carolina. She was employed at Roses, Boscov’s (for 10 years), and Kraft General Foods ,where she retired on disability. Louise lived over 40 years in Delaware and during that time she did many things. ![]() They lived in Hawaii for about six years before relocating to Dover Air Force Base Dover, Delaware. Holt Jr., and from their union they had two children. Louise was formerly married to the late Parks H. Louise worked as a switchboard operator and also taught second grade in the school system. She studied and received her cosmetology certificate and also attended Rice Business College. Louise was educated in the South Carolina School system and graduated from Bonds Wilson High School with the class of 1969.
